About Mia

Mia Runanin has been a certified Reiki Master/Teacher in the Usui system of natural healing for over 30 years. This profound work contains and informs everything she does. She has well over a thousand hours of study in bodywork and somatic counseling, has completed a comprehensive training in Hakomi body-centered psychotherapy, has engaged in healing ceremony in the U.S. and Mexico, and has been dancing since the age of five.

Guided by the principle that wellness is our natural state, Mia’s work is a dialogue with the senses. Our bodies are the user’s manual we came with, an interactive map of the unconscious, and the home of our truth. With an evolving toolbox and a spiritual practice that spans many decades, her work is an invitation to connect with the source of our being and emerge from the labrynth of old stories, beliefs, decisions, ancestral burdens and karma.

Mia has been teaching and seeing clients in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 30 years.
